Welcome to Stoney Creek Rabbitry!
For as long as I can remember, I've always loved rabbits, and have had several of them as pets as a little girl. It wasn't until 2010 that I even knew rabbit showing existed. This peaked my interest, and the rest is history. We've had great success with showing and breeding and hope to continue to do so for many years to come.
We are hobbiests, located in Stephenson, Virginia, who breed Polish. With lots of animal knowledge, we hope that we can produce wonderful, healthy, high quality rabbits for you! We started with Californians, but with our expanding family and small children, we decided to focus totally on the Polish.
After many ups and downs, making mistakes, learning, and getting advice, we've come along way! Our goal is to send you home with a friendly, well adjusted rabbit. To ensure this, we handle our rabbits daily, starting with kits when they are just born. We also expose our rabbit to every day noises, such as cars, dogs, cats, etc.. but also to other noises such as machinery, mowers, etc.... this way they are very much used to any possible noises and are not spooked easily. We also have our son Tanner handle the rabbits very frequently, as you can see from the below photos, so all of our bunnies are used to children as well. We've found that rabbits bred on our property or purchased as babies have adjusted well to this technique. Below you will see how much attention these bunnies really get!

The Next Generation!
My son Tanner is also VERY into rabbits, and won Best In Show with his black doe "Nite Nite" at the 2012 Annual Clarke Co. Fair in Berryville, Va and Grand Champion of the Barn at Frederick Co Fair in Winchester, VA in 2013 with GC Greenwood/Stoney Creek's Risky Business (a broken black senior doe)!
And the legacy continues....
Tanner is also already teaching his little brother
Parker about rabbits and how to take care of them!
